Village Clerk

The Village Clerk's Office is located at Village Hall 8 Green St. Canisteo, NY 14823. Village Hall is open Monday-Friday 9AM-4PM. Other departments located within Village Hall are Code Enforcement, Planning/Zoning and Village Court. The clerk's office is where residents make water/sewer payments, village tax payments and for general questions/requests. In the event the clerk cannot assist, the resident will be directed to the proper department for further support. The clerk is responsible for coordinating various village functions and is the acting liaison between citizens and the Board of Trustees. The Clerk's office has custody of all village books and records which available for public review on a per request basis.
