PUBLIC NOTICE
Due to the continued spread of COVID-19, effective Tuesday, March 17, 2020 Village Hall will be closed to the Public until further notice. Staff will be available via phone or email during the closure, between the hours of 9am-4pm monday – friday. Any payments can be left in the white drop box in front of the building, mailed to 8 Green St. or paid online at www.villageofcanisteo.com. If you need to meet with a public official please contact the office to schedule an appointment. Residents can follow the CDC and Steuben County Public Health safety guidelines and up to date information regarding the virus.
As of March 16th Gov. Cuomo has postponed the Village Elections scheduled for Wednesday, March 18th. Elections are rescheduled for April 28th with additional information available in the coming weeks. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
