Fire/Ambulance Department
The Village of Canisteo Fire Department provides fire equipment and apparatus and an ambulance for the Fire Company for the protection of the Village of Canisteo and its’ inhabitant. This Canisteo Fire Company is a volunteer fire company organized to provide the necessary manpower and personnel for emergency services in the Village of Canisteo and for protection of the said Village for the finding and control of fire and conflagrations and for other life-saving means.
The Fire Chief and commissioners represent the Village of Canisteo. The Fire Department and all apparatus is located at 14 Main St. Canisteo, NY where The Fire Company also holds their business and fundraisers.
